seemingly his birth and death date irrelevant

even his name surrendered

where is evidence of brother peter

his voice cannot be heard

no one remembers his face

his name is spoken only by those reading his tombstone

still a little flower remains by his grave

why is she there

is she a friend

does she signify his happiness in the afterlife

maybe, she is simply expressing her grief

or perhaps, she speaks of our connection to nature

but why does she choose brother peter

are his words of kindness still spoken

does his smile still somehow appear

is his love still being harvested

what did he create while he was here

brother peter’s voice cannot be heard

his face has faded from memory

his name is no longer called

seemingly forgotten, except for a little flower

why does she remain
